Please bring your membership fee on November 24, 2009 so that we can compete this year. We need to raise the $5,000 entry fee by November 30, 2009. We currently have $2,000 from Symantec and $500 from the Eaton family. We believe we can achieve the required amount if everyone brings the money next Tuesday.

The next meeting is
TUESDAY, NOV. 24, 2009
It will be in room F103

We are instituting a $100 membership fee. Monte Vista High School has been doing this for years. Those who can, please consider donating $200-500 which will help us achieve the $5,000 goal. The donation is tax-deductible, you will receive a letter from the school's ASB office. Members who donate $500 or more will be put on our our sponsor list, which is posted on our team's website (http://www.steveneaton.com/Robotics/), the robot, and announced before every match. The money can be given with a check written out to Homestead High School Robotics Club, and we would prefer that it be given in person on our next meeting on Tuesday. If you miss this deadline, give the check to Mr. Winspur before November 30, 2009.

The people who did fund raising in the past left no instructions or history and we have to learn the ropes ourselves, which is why we are having this financial difficulty. We are trying to gain corporate sponsorship this year so that all members will only need to pay $100 next year.
